Why won't MyChart let me log in? ›

If you try to log in unsuccessfully too many times, you might be locked out of the account. In this case, you won't be able to reset your password yourself. For help resetting passwords and regaining access to your account, please reach out to your healthcare organization's MyChart support desk.

If you don't have an activation code or you are not able to self sign-up using Sign Up And Verify, you may request an activation code by clicking MyChart Support on the login page and submitting a request or by calling the Help Desk directly at: 551-996-1046.

On the MyChart login screen, click the Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? link for help. If you forgot both your username and password, start with the username first. You will be prompted to answer some security questions to verify your identity so you can recover your username or password.

Most likely, you have tried to access your MyChart account 5 times in a row using the wrong password. If you do this, for security purposes, your account is disabled. If your account becomes disabled, you should call 740-454-5008.

Your activation code expires after 30 days and is no longer valid after the first time you use it. This is because of security reasons. You can request a new activation code by: Clicking the 'sign up now' button found on the MyChart log in page.

Hints on your password

Your password is different than your MyChart username. It is also case sensitive and must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least one number, and one letter.

When you're logged into MyChart, select “Menu” in the upper left corner and scroll down to “Security settings” or type “Security settings” in the search bar. Click “Security settings.” You will be taken to the Security Settings webpage. Select the red “Turn off two-step verification” button.

If you consent to share your Excellian electronic medical record with affiliated health care systems, you will have a single MyChart account with one unique ID and password, from which you will be able to access all of your care information across all organizations.
